Refund Policy

Carezo India Private Limited ("Carezo", "Company", "We", "Us", "Our") is committed to maintaining transparency and fairness in all transactions related to extended warranty, accidental damage, theft protection, and device protection plans. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which customers may request cancellations and refunds for services purchased through Carezo website, partner channels, or authorized sellers.

Customers are encouraged to review policy details, coverage terms, exclusions, and eligibility criteria before purchasing any protection plan. Refunds are processed based on policy usage, claim status, activation stage, and verification outcomes.

Refund Eligibility

Refund requests may be considered only when submitted within the eligible refund period and when the policy has not been utilized. Refund eligibility is determined based on verification of purchase details, policy activation status, and claim usage.

  • Refund requests must be submitted within the defined cancellation period
  • Policy must not have any active or completed claim
  • Customer must provide valid invoice and purchase proof
  • Policy must not be expired at the time of refund request
  • Refund requests must be submitted by registered policyholder

Refund Conditions

Refunds are processed depending on policy activation stage and service utilization. Carezo reserves the right to approve or reject refund requests based on review findings.

  • Full refund applicable within 30 days from the date of purchase, except for ADLD plans, which are non-refundable.
  • No refund after claim approval or service utilization
  • Administrative or processing charges may apply
  • Refund eligibility subject to verification and approval

Refund Request Process

Customers must follow the below steps to request refund:

  1. Submit refund request through Carezo website or email
  2. Provide policy number and purchase invoice
  3. Carezo team verifies eligibility
  4. Approval confirmation sent to customer
  5. Refunds will be processed through the original payment method or the same purchase channel used during purchase.

Carezo may request additional documentation for verification. Failure to provide requested documents may result in delay or rejection of refund.

Refund Timeline

Once refund is approved, Carezo will process refund within the following timelines:

  • UPI / Wallet Payments — 3 to 5 Business Days
  • Bank Transfer — 5 to 7 Business Days
  • Credit / Debit Card — 7 to 10 Business Days
  • Partner Channel Payments — Subject to partner approval timeline

Refund timelines may vary depending on bank processing delays or payment gateway procedures.

Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be applicable in the following cases:

  • Policy already used for claim or service
  • Fraudulent or misleading information provided
  • Customer initiated cancellation after claim approval
  • Expired refund request period
  • Policy transferred to another device or customer

Carezo Rights

Carezo reserves the right to review, approve, or reject refund requests based on policy terms, customer usage, and verification outcomes. Carezo also reserves the right to deduct administrative, processing, or service charges where applicable.

Policy Updates

Carezo may update this Refund Policy periodically to reflect operational, legal, or service changes. Customers are encouraged to review the policy regularly. Continued use of Carezo services constitutes acceptance of updated policy terms.
